New Year’s Eve: 2016

So, here we are at the end of 2016. Writing has gone well, blogging, not so much. I still am interested in the process and so I’m just checking out the flow of ideas. I listened to a TEDx talk by Austin Kleon on how to steal like an artist and his idea intrigued me. Much like cooking a meal, being creative artistically will naturally involve using information derived from my own experience. Just as cooking involves putting together different ingredients, few of which I grew myself, being creative involves putting together ideas; information from my reading and life experiences. I like the thought and so am looking at blogging in 2017 in a different way, sort of like developing a new recipe for creativity. This is the first mashup of ideas and it comes at the end of the year 2016. Let’s see what 2017 brings about. Happy New Year!
