I read an interesting quote this morning from Matt Langdon: “The opposite of a hero is not a villain; it’s a bystander.”
Inaction is more harmful than misdirected action in most cases. Much potential is lost by lack of movement on the part of the individual, who for various reasons fails to act on a particular idea at the right time.
Here’s another quote from Steven Spielberg: “Good ideas are only given to you for a limited time. If you do not act on them, they belong to someone else.”
This is never truer than in accomplishing my own purpose. I may feel that I have the rest of my life to complete ideas that I have been given, but the truth is that ideas have an expiration date!
Put your ideas into use or they belong to another…I like that thought. Use it or lose it!
